Haiku poem (SlJ)

In the first day of the holidays, I decided to do some Summer learning Journey. This was my first task.
I had to do a Haiku poem. A Haiku poem is a three sentence poem. In each sentence, there there is a role. The first sentence is where you need you sentence to have 5 syllables. The second one, 7 syllables. And the last one also has 5.
Tell me in the comments what you Haiku poem is. :D

  1. Kia Ora Stephanie,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.

I really enjoyed this activity as I like to write my own haiku especially on birthdays and christmas cards.

I like that you introduced the activity and explained what a haiku is and how to write one. I thought your haiku was very well written, you followed the haiku syllable rules and kept to the theme of summer. I like how short and sweet it was.

    Summer time is now
The days are long and joyful
    The nights full of peace.

How do you like my quick summer haiku!

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates

    1. Thanks Zana Yates. :)
I like your Haiku poem! 10/10 I even counted the syllables. 😅 This was really fun to do. It took me a while to think of what to write. But i'm glad I came up with this.
When ever I heard the word "Haiku", I was thinking of the anime "Haikyuu" maybe I should stop thinking of anime!<3
