His eyes were focused on the shot. He was afraid of what would happen next in the future. This was his last shot. He stands very still, not moving an inch. Some of his mates and his coach all rolled their eyes telling him to “Move on with it.” In the crowd, his family and friends were there. His mum, dad, sister and cousins (along with his friends) are watching him. Not impressed. “I give up. Son! You can do it!!” Yelled his dad.
Tom's dad teaches him to get better shots. But now, no bullets have succeeded so far. It was up to him to make it better. “Be quiet, he is trying to focus!” His mother whispered. “Right, forget I said that.”
He was now shivering. The audience was roaring at him like a bunch of lions and tigers. His hands were bright red, sweat was pouring down his body travelling to his feet, on to the ground. People were whispering to him the words that make him never give up, “You can make the shot!”
“Alright! I think you need a time out Mr” Yelled his coach. “Yeah, I need to calm down” He sat down. His coach yelled at the audience, “OK People! I’m sorry but it’s time out!” People left to go to the Lu (The toilet) and to get a new drink. They waited for the next call.
They talked for a while. “I’m sorry man, just, you took forever to shoot, what’s up man?” His coach gave him a cup of water. “Thanks but, if I don’t win this lucky shot, I'll lose my $10,00” “Go back and win now! You can do it!” He went back and now, it was time to focus!
BANG!!
He… He did it!! “Tom, You won $10.00! Congrats!” Tom cries out of joy, his shot wasn’t that good, but he got the red middle! The next few years he became popular, this is what he dreamed for!
