Poem on the moon SLJ

I was alone. On a big giant stone, the moon. It sounds weird, but don't be scared. It's in the sky up high. I jumped on it like a trampoline, it was fun! But things had to be done. Put the flag in the moon. I said "soon".
I jumped in the air like I didn't care. I almost walk off, but I slowly ran like a sloth! Ran to my rocket, my hands out of my pocket. I said "See ya later moon! I'll come back soon!"

  2. Hey Stephanie,

I’m back from my break and ready to comment on your blogs again. I ate lots of nice food and lived off leftovers for a while and hung out with my family lots. I hope you had an awesome break over the holidays and enjoyed yourself. I’d love to hear what you got up to.

This is a really fun poem with lots of great rhyming and imagination. I love how you've told a story with your poem. It starts with you having fun and then you remember the job to be done, you almost walk off and get lost then you get back and say goodbye. Very nice.

I hope you have enjoyed the SLJ tasks you've done so far. It’s been a while since you’ve posted but hopefully you’ll give some more a go. Remember that you can go back or skip ahead to do the tasks in any order you like so maybe start with the most interesting ones first.

See you in the comments soon.

I hope your holidays are going well and you’re having lots of fun. I see you haven't posted on your blog in a while. There’s still plenty of time left to do what you can and get more points and get those cool prizes that are up for grabs.

Remember that you can go back or skip ahead to do the tasks in any order you like so you can always start with the most interesting ones first.

  4. Hi Stephanie
I am Mehakpreet I also go to Papakura Central School but I don't see you much often

I really like the moon poem it goes super well together it sounds amazing and I love the rhymes it's super creative and cool. I love reading rhymes specially about things I like and I like the moon so I really like the poem. Do you like writing poems? if you do do you like reading poems more? or writing poems more?

Next time you could add some pictures, background and maybe change the colour and the font. You could also say what you had to do for this activity so we know what you had to do.

Keep up the amazing work :)
